The Universidad Nacional Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza de Amazonas received the recognition of the Ministry of Education and the Department of State of the United States which was received by the president of the University, Dr. Policarpio Chauca Valqui.

The UNTRM was awarded this recognition for its participation in the Innovation Fund "100,000 Strong in the Americas" promoted by the Department of State of the United States of America.

The UNTRM is one of the 10 universities that reached the financing of their projects.

The Minister of Education, Idel Vexler, expressed his congratulations to the UNTRM for obtaining the joint financing with the University of New Hampshire of the United States, and called on other universities to participate in the upcoming calls.

The recognition ceremony was held in the Convention Center of Lima, where they participated the project managers Juan Carlos Guerrero Abad and Antonio Tacilla Villanueva.
